Main functions of BA101 battery tester include： battery test，cranking test，charging test and other additional functions.
Battery Test
is mainly targeted to analyzethe battery healthy status to calculate the actual cold cranking capability of the battery and the
aging extent, which provide reliable analysis evidence for the test and maintenance of the battery. It notifies the user to replace battery in advance when the battery getting aged.
Cranking Test
is mainly to test and analyze the starting motor. Through testing the actual required cranking current and cranking voltage of the starting motor，it can find out whether the starting motor works fine. There are several reasons why the starting motor is abnotmal: lubricating system fault causing the starting loaded torque increasing or rotor friction of the starting motor causing the in creasing friction of the starting motor itself.
Charging Test
is to check and analyze the charging system， including generator，rectifier，rectifier diode， etc.， thus to find out whether the output voltage of the generator is normal， the rectifier diode works fine and the charging current is normal. Suppose one of the above mentioned parts is not in normal situation， it will lead to over charge or incomplete charge of the battery， thus the battery will be quickly damaged and also greatly shorten the using life of other loaded electrical appliance.

At first glance, everything seems to be working. We tested 3 batteries - approximately everything is working/ displaying correctly. The other functions have not been tested yet.

Working great just used it with my car...
The voltage measurement is quite accurate, the difference with the Aneng AN8008 multimeter is within 0. 03 V. Also compared the readings with the Ancel VM200 battery monitor - the difference in open circuit voltage is zero. 02 V, but in "cranking test" mode the discrepancies were more noticeable - both in minimal voltage drop and in the duration of motor startup. But I only did a few tests; for statistics, of course, more would be needed. There's no way to compare the internal resistance measurements of the battery, but from YouTube tests it seems like this device is quite reliable. Overall satisfied.
Tested it side to side with an oex battery tester with printer lv8111-8black, which is 10 times more expensive, and got the results which are pretty simmilar. So. Why to pay more? It works.
