KINGBOLEN ECT300 is suitable for 0V~80V automotive circuit tester, this circuit tester is well designed easy to operate, contain complete functions. It supports testing circuits, checking grounding, finding open wires, finding short circuits, testing voltage and P-N terminals, testing trailer connectors, diagnosing trailer lights, and checking connectivity.

KINGBOLEN ECT300 Supports Multimeter Mode Function

This device is powered by an external battery or car battery. Before you begin testing a circuit or component, connect the red clip to the positive terminal and the black clip to the negative terminal.

1. Voltage Test

Connect the red clip to the positive terminal and the black clip to the negative terminal.

Connect the probe to the positive terminal, and the display will show the maximum voltage, minimum voltage, and minimum voltage value.

2. Resistance Test

To access the resistance menu:
Connect the grounding clamp (auxiliary grounding wire) to one end of the resistor being tested, and connect the probe to the other end.

The device will then display the resistance value. (Please turn off the power before entering the resistance test).

3. Diode Test

Connect the grounding clamp (auxiliary grounding wire) to the negative terminal of the diode, and then connect the probe to the positive terminal. The measured value of the diode will be displayed

* If connected to the reverse terminal of the diode, no voltage value will be displayed.

4. ON/ OFF Test

Connect the grounding clamp (auxiliary grounding wire) to one end of the resistor and the probe to the other end. The screen will display the measured resistance value.

If the resistance value is ≥100Ω, the device will identify it as an open circuit, and the buzzer will not sound;

If the resistance value is <100Ω, the device will identify it as having good conductivity, the buzzer will sound continuously, and the red LED indicator will light up.

5. P-N Test

Connect the grounding clamp to the vehicle’s grounding wire, and then use a probe to contact the positive and negative terminals of the vehicle system.

When a positive signal is detected, the voltage value and the positive terminal (+) are displayed.

When a negative signal is detected, the negative voltage value and the negative terminal (-) are displayed.

6. Frequency Test

Connect the grounding clamp to the vehicle’s grounding clamp, and touch the probe to the location to be measured.

The screen will display the frequency and duty cycle of the measured signal.

KINGBOLEN ECT300 Supports oscilloscope Mode Function

After entering oscilloscope mode, the current signal waveform will be displayed, “MAX” is the maximum value, “MlN” is the minimum value, “Freq” is the frequency, “Duty” is the duty cycle, press the “OK” button to lock the current display waveform, which is convenient for comparison and observation of the waveform.

Note: In both multimeter mode and oscilloscope mode, press the “◎K” key to lock the current display interface.

KINGBOLEN ECT300 supports component activation:

The activation function can be used to activate components such as starter, fuel pumps, solenoid valves, blowers, cooling fans, headlights, etc.

Connect the grounding clip to the negative pole, connect the probe to the positive pole, press the “Up” button, the probe will output a positive voltage, and display the voltage value at the same time. the buzzer will beep continuously, the red LED light on the screen will light up. The test part will be activated.

The probe can output both positive and negative voltages. Press the “Up” button, the probe will output a positive voltage, the red LED light wil light up, and the voltage value will be displayed on the screen at the same time. Press the “Down” button, the probe will output a negative voltage, the green LED light will light up, and the buzzer will sound. The maximum activated output current is 8A, if it exceeds 8A, the trip protection function will be activated, the device will be restarted.
